The main objective of Pandanan Marine Technopark initiative is to restore the coral reef ecosystem which was destroyed by irresponsible human activities, such as fish bombing, use of cyanides, and coral mining. The restoration is required a lot of resources from budgets to human capitals. It is not only expensive but also need knowledgeable and skillful team members. In the long-term, the initiative should be able to finance itself with or without limited supports from others.
